About me

I consider myself an all-weather photographer, as I have covered pretty much every field in this beautiful profession; fashion catwalks, backstage, football games, circus, architecture and interiors, sill life, advertising, private and commercial portraits, travels, all kinds of events, music bands (both life and album covers) as well as – sure enough – weddings.

I would say wedding photography is my natural habitat. It is what I know best technically, liturgically and emotionally. I believe I can perfectly empathize with my clients. A weeding is a truly special event, a unique celebration in two people’s lives where their whole history comes together. It gathers families as well as friends from different backgrounds and times, conveying a whole range of emotions unlikely to be repeated elsewhere.

I am originally from Bilbao. I lived there until the year 2000, when I moved to Barcelona to chase my dream: becoming a full-time professional photographer. This is where I have been living since then. Sure I miss my homeland but luckily enough I can go and visit regularly since I have had plenty of work in weddings there.

I could safely say that I am professionally based both in Barcelona and Bilbao. Traveling around for work is absolutely no issue for me, as I have already taken wedding pictures both in Spain (Madrid, Pamplona, Majorca, Palencia, Galicia, Marbella, Cadiz, Santander, San Sebastian, Zaragoza…) and abroad (Berlin, London, Ghent, Tuscany…).

I believe every wedding is a unique and a once-in-a-lifetime moment. I have already photographed some 200 of them. However, every wedding is a new beginning for me. You make it unique and your story is the most special one for me that day. My aim is to portrait everything that happens on that date in the most truthful and beautiful manner, creating a collection of images that will linger in time becoming ever lasting memories.
